Wrestling to Embody the Word of Righteousness (Singlz’ Summit 2025, Day 3)

The Lord Jesus bears the fullness of the new heavens and the new earth in Him. “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” (Revelation 21:5). All things new are things that can be given. The spirit or heart of Christ is the new man; the things of Christ involve the new heart or new spirit.

The earth has entered into a season of strong delusion, especially from 2020, when things changed in the realm of the spirit and touched down upon the earth in the natural. Things have been spiraling downward at a very high speed. Even though men see it as an advancement, man is on a downward spiral into an abyss. Man has entered into a season of great delusion and the current happenings upon the earth over mankind testify to this.

One thing I have been trusting God to help me do is to correctly interpret the happenings in the spirit vis-a-vis what is happening in the natural.  If you cannot interpret the season upon man and what God is doing at this time, you will not understand the reason for the emphasis of the Spirit. The reason the Lord is opening up some realms is because things are being rearranged in the spirit and only disciples who have followed truth wholeheartedly will be able to follow through.

Believers will be deceived and turned against each other because of the things that are being said in this season. We are warring against forces of darkness, who will do everything they can to prevent the reign of Christ on the earth. The warfare with these spirits is in the place of ideology because their major strength is ideology targeting generations.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” (Ephesians 6:12). These spirits do not desire to possess men, rather, they want to rule men by the thoughts that they cause to prosper in a locality. The place of ideology is the place of warfare and the zone of ideology is the zone of thoughts. One may be sitting amongst us but be fed from another place. This is what will cause some to rise from amongst us (1 John 2:19).

The Lord had to quickly raise Apostle Paul because all the disciples would have gone back to Judaism. There were false brethren, apostles, prophets who had mixed ideology in their midst. As such, in the midst of what we are doing, Satan can come and plant some ideologies, thereby, raising false brethren, apostles and prophets. These are the people that Jude called wandering stars (Jude 1:13).

It is difficult to raise a star. The Lord had to hold the seven stars in His hand (Revelation 2:1) as a covering over the churches because spiritual wickedness in high places lusted after them. “That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose.” (Genesis 6:2). Satan went after the sons of God in that time, not the children of Cain. These spirits wrestle and can weave a seductive spirit which is the arrowhead of delusion and we will experience these things as the Church in the last days. Satan has a strategy which never changes. There is nothing he does that is new, rather, he just makes these strategies morph and adaptable to each generation. He used daughters of men to get the sons of God in Genesis and in the same way, he used the harlot, Jezebel in Revelation 2:20.

‘“These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.’’ (Revelation 14:4). In our generation, a strong delusion is coming. Satan will use everything he has – doctrine, non-doctrine, physical and non-physical to stage this strong delusion. The strong delusion is not only fashioned against the Church, for it will have a ripple effect on the world. If the Church cannot withstand it, then the world has no hope against it.

A worldly believer will not be able to discern where the warfare is, for it is in the realm of ideology. Doctrine is ideology; the world to come is an ideology. There is a spirit of blackmail moving around the company of the word of righteousness to blackmail the ministry and ministers. These spirits are lurking around the corners to attack people whose hearts are not yet established, to think that they are being brainwashed. However, this is a ploy to get them out of the company of the word of righteousness because they see that they are under a spiritual covering. As such, they make one suspicious against covering.

These evil spirits have a major aim to lure you out of the word of righteousness because there are higher evil spirits waiting outside. As such, one who leaves his covering will become worse than his beginning (2 Peter 2:20). This is a warning from the Spirit and as people who are following the word of righteousness, we have to stand boldly for it and make no apology to anybody who thinks or believes otherwise.

No one should speak against the doctrine of the salvation of the soul, faith, hope and charity because Christ has been set forth evidently and our lives have been changed by these doctrines. We have prospered because of these teachings and our marriages and lives have been made better because of these teachings. We can testify that we have a richer quality of life as a result of this.

The Lord wants to begin to bring spiritual ‘ideologies’ to us so He can deliver us from the wrong ideologies that previously formed us. These ideologies are doctrines of this world and Paul confronted them in his days. Some of them sound like the doctrines under the word of righteousness but they have a very slight tangent and we must be very discerning to see this.

“So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.’’ (Revelation 2:15). A minister can have a seed of worldly ideology which will color the word of God, thereby, making it impure. This wrong doctrine found its way into the Church and could hide undetected. It took the Lord to reveal it as the doctrine of the Nicolaitians which He hated. Some were holding it as a conviction, as an ideology without even realizing it was in error.

Doctrine is an ideology and ideology is a spirit; they are not ordinary. The world to come is an ideology because it can govern you here on earth, change the trajectory of your life and make you see things differently. Gates of hell are men (Matthew 16:18); they are portals for ideologies to spring out from.

It is a war of ideology and that is why the Lord wants us to wrestle with these spirits. Our wisdom is not of the princes of this world, for it transcends the present (1 Corinthians 2:7-8). The wisdom we are combatting is the best of the fallen present and this is why men cannot find it out. Men rose up from Grecian ideologies; men who were gates brought forth things. The current arrangement of thoughts, school structure, and government is Grecian.

Evil spirits invade universities and seek to preach their own ideologies as a way to destabilise the minds of students and young ones, but the Lord wants us to be insulated by fetching words of the world to come. Every thought that comes should be lined up with scriptures as it is line upon line and precept upon precept (Isaiah 28:10). Satan uses everything to preach his doctrines, but we only have the Church and yet, he is attacking the Church. We should refuse to be cultured by evil spirits or pick the wrong ideologies they project; we should ensure that we reject them.

Satan is using everything available to culture men, but we have to use everything available in God to reject and defeat him. The first place to be cultured is your home. This is why intending couples must both be committed to the truth of God’s word before they get married. Living out the truth of God’s word in families must be seen in the conversation of the parents because children do not learn precepts but lines (way of life). This is why evil spirits can snatch them from parents who do not uphold a righteous conversation.

Lines are ways/conversations and children must see their parents keep the ordinances of marriage because the first place these ideologies attack is the home and family. God’s intention for the home still remains the same – for children to be raised as godly seeds. Parents have to be plugged into the spirit and be faithful in leading the way of righteousness for their children to follow.

A couple must stay under spiritual authority. As the head of the woman is man, the head of Christ is God (1 Corinthians 11:3). There is an alignment that the home must have; the home is a military formation against evil spirits so spouses should not quarrel or argue in the home. The reason he fights the home is because of the children, for he is always looking for the next generation.

Satan is primarily after the young ones because he wants to have his imprint on every generation, but the last line of defence is the home. No institution has been attacked as much as the family. Now, Satan is trying to bring a redefinition of what family is; he wants men to keep an open mind concerning the definition of what family is. Those spirits who hold on to their own doctrine want you to have an open mind so that they can have access to you. The Bible is our box and we should not think outside this box. There is no point thinking outside the Bible.

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.’’ (Philippians 4:8). We need to be as practical as possible with regards to fighting thoughts. Our safety is in that which is new. It is not every thought that is originally yours, for there are God-thoughts and man-thoughts (Isaiah 55:8). Satan always pushes his thoughts and man’s mind is a processor that feeds on thoughts; it has a way of fetching thoughts.

It is not all thoughts that are yours at first; they become yours when they are seated in your heart. Every sin starts first as a thought. The thoughts that we entertain eventually become a temptation. For Cain, sin was at his door (Genesis 4:7). This was a thought, an ideology in his mind. Usually, thoughts start as temptation, then become lust, after which they become a passion and then an obsession. If it gets to this point, then plans start to come out of it for something to do. Satan sells thoughts as an ideology, and the mind makes an image out of it until this image becomes our person.

“And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.’’ (Genesis 6:5). Man has degenerated so much that some people now choose to identify as whatever they want. We can turn scriptures into ideologies we live by and make them weapons against the enemy. To bring down a stronghold, you must wrestle (2 Corinthians 10:4-5), but you must understand that these strongholds are thoughts.

Ideologies form the intent of the heart. There was an idea of a kind of life sold to the sons of God in Genesis 6. Satan is still selling ideas of various kinds of life in our days, and many people, even in the Church, will buy into such ideas. There are high thoughts that will visit the earth and exalt themselves against the knowledge of God (2 Corinthians 10:5). These thoughts will give rise to strong delusions because the people will reject the love of the truth.

“Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, [10] And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.” (2 Thessalonians 2:9-10). The word of righteousness which you have been hearing is the love of truth. Newness is truth which you have to love and receive and this newness will seal you away from other ideologies. People are taken away by these ideologies because they did not receive the love of the truth that they might be saved. What we are receiving will keep us from the delusion that is upon the earth so that we might be saved.

Some of these wrong ideologies come through social media. However, we can use social media correctly as a tool to spread the word of righteousness. We have to recognise that we have an enemy, for the realm of the spirit is real. If you do not recognise that you have an enemy, you would think that everyone is your friend and would be unable to stand against these wrong ideologies.  

Satan comes subtly as a serpent to discourage us concerning the word of righteousness, but our desire should be to go far in God. We should want to be in God and God in us; this is how far we should want to go. We should run to the light. A strong delusion will come upon the earth, and we should run far into God. This is why God wants us to be renewed in our mind. As long as we are on the earth, thoughts will come from the media, men and evil spirits.

Even in your personal life, wrong thoughts will come to you, but you need to get thoughts from the scriptures to war against such thoughts. Learn to fight thoughts with scriptures, keep reading your Bible and listening to messages. This warfare is very practical, line up every thought or ideology with scriptures and if it does not align, put it away. The world to come is yours! Newness is yours! You can be totally new!

Like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, we should refuse the king’s table. On the king’s table, there are wrong ideologies, but we should refuse such ideologies. We should be like Jesus, who was the embodiment of the ideologies of God. As such, Satan could not penetrate Him. You will be fearless and unashamed of the Lord; you will not be ashamed to identify with truth and the word of righteousness. When new thoughts come to a man, they make him excellent in all things. Such a person will have judgement and nothing will be hidden from him.

“Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.” (Hebrews 1:4). What makes for the excellent name are excellent things, which are spirits. Do not be ashamed of truth, but be bold! Stand out as a child of righteousness wherever you are.
