The Process and The Path to Newness (Singlz’ Summit 2025 Day 1, Evening Session)

It is not a coincidence that Singlz Summit is held in the month of October, coinciding with the nation’s independence celebration. There is a season in which the realm of newness will come upon us. A lot of things are changing in the realm of the spirit.

There is a wineskin of revelation that the Lord is bringing. There is a familiarity that we must do away with and hence, approach the Bible and the things of the spirit with the heart of a child. When the Lord wants to give something new, we must present a new wineskin (Matthew 9:17).

The Lord is changing our former dwelling place in the spirit. Thus, every form of oldness in us should birth a dissatisfaction for a newness. We will experience an invasion of newness because the world of newness will be open unto us.

We must trace the origin of newness to God because God is always new. The newness of God’s life is ever new (Lamentations 3:23). God is always replenishing and self-regenerating. This is why God’s world is always fresh and unending. In God, there is no ending. A seeming end in God is a launch into another realm in Him. We must trace the origin of our newness in God. Jesus is a bringer and a messenger of newness to a generation that will be characterised by the genetic traits in God.

“[4]In him was life; and the life was the light of men. [5]And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. [14]And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” (John 1:4-5, 14).

Newness is God. God’s newness is God’s life before time began. Newness is the demonstration of life. Newness is not what God does but it is what God is; it is the DNA of His life. Jesus was sent to bring God’s life and nature to men such that man will be existing in the state of God.

The three and half years in which Jesus did ministry on the earth introduced a great thing to the earth. God walked on the earth for thirty-three years – this is a great phenomenon. John testified that the whole world cannot contain the whole account of the Jesus’ life on earth (John 21:25).

The presence of Jesus brought newness to the earth, thereby, changing the structure of the entire world. The world will experience another invasion of newness; the word becoming flesh is the technology of newness.

Jesus brought a message that was a declaration of God’s estate for man. The essence of the gospel is that man occupies God’s estate. In God’s realm, there is nothing there but life. God sent Jesus to bear witness of His life. Jesus is God’s standard for the life of a man. The life of Jesus was a demonstration of how man ought to live and become like God.

All men should be like Jesus; He is the prototype of who God is. Christianity is a message of change and emancipation out of the old life. Jesus brought a redefinition to the life of a man; He came to destroy the fallen and perverted life in men. He came to show us that there is hope for mankind and that man can live like God. Jesus is God’s message for the whole world.

We need to quickly go into the future of God which is the world to come. The world to come is an estate in God; it is a reality in God. Everything in the world to come is new. No matter what you are struggling with, believe that you will be made new. Everything in us is designed to carry God.

Our future is God. Jesus died for all men and broke the back of sin forever. Jesus has solved whatever problem we are dealing with. Jesus is the way to newness. The way and the destination are both new. Jesus brought a message of hope and redemption and a calling of man into a journey of newness until we become fully new. The reason it is called the New Birth is because it is the beginning of a man’s journey to newness.

A lot of people will get born again and be filled with the Holy Ghost in this meeting. Jesus is a power of grace; He has broken newness into stratas. Our journey is one of experiencing different stratas of newness until we come into the newness in God. The Lord will give grace to renounce works of the flesh in us in this meeting. As such, we will not be able to exercise ourselves in some works of the flesh after this meeting.

Jesus is full of grace and truth (John 1:14). Grace is the strength to become new; it is an empowerment that causes us to walk out of darkness and become joined to a new estate in God. Jesus has layers of grace, life and names, which all give us newness in portions. The commission of Jesus in Matthew 3:11-12 is a genetic baptism. Jesus has not truly touched us if He has not touched our genes. The reason we still sin is because we have the gene of sin.

Man is trying to understand the world of genetics. There are some genetic illnesses that are so hard to unravel that medical science has no solution to. Science is currently trying to solve illnesses by understanding genetics.

There are some things we do without the participation of our consciousness because they are seated deeply in the gene. Anything that does not tamper with the gene has not changed a man. Satan is an evil genius. Sin is a twisted angelic gene which he has made natural to man. He knows that it will take a lot of power for God to solve the problem of sin because sin is at home with man.

“Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” (Psalm 51:5). David saw the motions of sin in his members and saw how helpless he was. “But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.” (Romans 7:23). God showed Paul the genetic activity of sin inside the nature of man. This is why sin does not need our permission to manifest.

Jesus is God’s genetic engineer; He is a genetic deliverer and transformer. Thus, He knows how to transform man from inside out. Jesus brought a message to change the genealogy of man. The sweetness in Jesus covers for the pains we endure from dying daily. The relinquishing of old natures gives way for the introduction of new natures. When God tells us to let go of something, it is because he has something better.

The new nature is better than the old. As such, we should not regret the loss of the old nature. Tribulation is the way to newness. A lot of people are afraid of losing an old nature that has caused them pain. However, we should not mourn when the old man is dying but be excited at the reality of being clothed with a new life.

“For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.” (Romans 5:6). Jesus has paid the price for the newness of all men. As such, every man has a destiny of newness. The present state of Jesus is the destiny of eevry man. Jesus has paid the price for the future of all men, no matter how horrible their lives are. Jesus wants to take on a journey of newness from the New Birth to the newness on the throne.

“For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. [8] But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. [9] Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.” (Romans 5:7-9). Jesus’ love is His grace towards us and it is manifest by the message He brought to us. Salvation is a progressive journey and the message of newness is a message of salvation. Jesus brings joy, hope and the possibility to change our gene from the old to the new.

“(For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law. [14] Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam’s transgression, who is the figure of him that was to come. [15] But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many” (Romans 5:13-15). The grace that Jesus brought is to make men inherit God’s life. Truth are the laws that hold God’s natures. As we walk in truth, we unlock a code into the laws of God’s exact natures. God has a weaving of laws which is His DNA and Jesus came with a strength to walk in God’s nature.

What God has in Him is for many men. What is in Jesus can solve generational desolations in men; it can solve genetic assault on man’s DNA. To give life is to give us the exact composition in God. The baptism of the Holy Ghost is a journey unto newness; it is impenetrable to the laws of sin and death.

Grace empowers the soul to undertake the journey of newness. God is changing our genes. Jesus’ message at every level has the power to change our genes. At every stage of our spiritual journey, Jesus gives us a new thing to displace an old thing.

“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” (2 Corinthians 5:17). Newness in Greek language means “uncommon” and “never seen”. Newness in this sense is an introduction of a life that was not previously there. There are seasons of Christ’s evolution: there is Christ who is Lord, Christ who is Father, Christ who is God and Christ who is sitting on the throne.

A man in Christ is a totally new man who has never existed. We must journey to a point where everything in us is made new. It is possible for people and situations to push us to exhibit the versions of old man in us. However, God wants to be able to do a work in us whereby everything in us will be made new. The reason we have the old nature is because of old laws domiciled in us.

“And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also. [12] And the Lord spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.” (Numbers 20:11-12). The Israelites provoked Moses to exercise anger which is a product of the old man. This expression of anger prevented him from entering into the promise land. As such, any expression of the old man is enough to lock us out of the newness in God. This is why we must not relent until we totally relinquish all darkness.

The journey of newness is not a sprint. Patience is the attitude to recover all the laws that bring the composition of God’s nature in us. Christ is a good realm but it is not all the things that God calls new. There are things in God that a spiritual man (Christ) does not know because they are not his reality. There is a realm of love that exists in God that bears with our inconsistencies and frailties. Love will become our normal life, for we will become innocent of evil and incapable of hate.

Jesus brought a message of newness, which is a message of salvation; it is a redesign of our genetics. A soul that has been made Christ is one that has been genetically rewired. A man of charity is a genetic work of Christ, but this is not the end for a man, for there is also the message of the Father. When a man is immersed into the Holy Ghost, he inherits the Holy Ghost. The name of the Holy Ghost is a genetic baptism and the name of the Son is also another genetic baptism.

To put on Christ is for Christ to become our reality. God has done some work in us such that we are incapable of taking some fallen thoughts. A time will come when we will be incapable of doing the works of Satan. A time will come when we will express the natures of life with joy because a new thing has happened. A time will come when we will become higher than offense. Newness is the introduction of laws that will make us act exactly as God does.

“For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.” (Romans 5:17). It is possible to be made new. Adam brought death into the domain of man and it reigned. Our receiving of the laws that Jesus brings positions us into the future that God has ordained. Jesus’ graces have laws attached to them. When we receive those laws, we will reign in that life.

We must receive the substance and the spirit of the law for it to become life in us for reigning. We are to reign over things and situations. When we receive abundance of grace, we will reign in newness and in life. For every newness of life, there is a dimension of reigning. 1 Corinthians 13 is not just a confession, but the reigning of a man. As we yield ourselves to the laws of righteousness, our change will eventually become so evident.

“But let it be the hidden man of the heart, in that which is not corruptible, even the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price. [5] For after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in God, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands…” (1 Peter 3:4-5). There are spiritual laws that a wife will possess such that she can win the heart of her husband. There are reigns in nature that we can come into. When we receive all the graces of our Lord, we will come into all of the reigns.

“Moreover the law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: [21] That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 5:20-21). Jesus has the answers to all we need to come out of the old into the new. There is an allocation for every man to sit on the throne. We will be seated on the throne! Jesus brought a message of hope, redemption and how to reign in life.
