Receiving A New Name From God (Singlz’ Summit 2025, Day 3)
“And in the morning, as they passed by, they saw the fig tree dried up from the roots. [21] And Peter calling to remembrance saith unto him, Master, behold, the fig tree which thou cursedst is withered away. [22] And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God. [23] For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith. [24] Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.” (Mark 11:20-24).
This summarizes how God will genetically engineer our change.
Genetic engineering is one of the prominent courses in developed nations because it enables one to alter natures; it enables the addressing of limitations. One can hack into the DNA of plants and organisms and address things that cause diseases. Although this is happening in the natural, the original is happening in the realm of the spirit. The genetic engineering taking place in the physical is a reflection of that which is taking place in the spirit.
“And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away! [21] Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.” (Matthew 21:20-21). What Jesus was saying in this scripture was what He had kept faith with. During a season, this was one of the scriptures that was primarily used to describe the milk expression of faith. This expression of faith was used to handle physical mountains like illnesses, diseases and financial issues. However, there is much more to this scripture than that expression of faith.
“I sought the Lord, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. [5] They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.” (Psalm 34:4-5). The man being referred to in the scripture is one in the season of everlasting life. This is a man who is not ashamed of the dealing as a result of the gospel that was preached to him.
We have used the Mark 11:23-24 scripture for many exploits of faith. It is possible to anchor our faith on scriptural verses that have a deeper meaning than what we use them for. To have faith in God, one must have had faith in Christ. The feat that Jesus was able to perform when He cursed the fig tree requires a stature in everlasting life. Newness is required to be able to do that; such a person must have gotten to a point where his words have become steadfast like the angels (Hebrews 2:2). We can exercise a great deal of influence on the things of the earth when we have lived by the righteousness of the new earth and have served the righteousness of the new heavens.
“I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” (Galatians 2:20). It was in the season of the Son of God giving Himself for Apostle Paul that he came to the place of having faith in God (Mark 11:22). Apostle Paul had attained the faith in Christ and had secured the inheritance of having that faith. This is the portion of those who have come to Zion – it is for those who have received “the spirit of Christ”.
Apostle Paul said he was crucified with Christ, but had not yet been crucified with the Son of God at that time – he still needed to be crucified with the Son of God. Apostle Paul began to experience this higher crucifixion when the messenger of Satan began to buffet him in 2 Corinthians 12:7. He was on his way to his own mount Moriah because everyone has his own mount Moriah (Genesis 22). It is at mount Moriah that we glorify God by a particular kind of death.
A believer who has journeyed to Zion is one who would have the privilege to be loved because such a believer has new things. The Son of God loved Apostle Paul (Galatians 2:20) because he was in custody of new things. Just as we naturally like new things, the Father also likes new things. When we receive the new heart and new spirit, we are commended to the Father. The father loves a precious/Zion stone and gives Himself to him. It is by receiving what He gives that a believer would have faith in God and come into what the churches in Revelation 2 and 3 came into.
“I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name. [9] Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” (Revelation 3:8-9). The Philadelphia church was able to show that they were profiting with the things that were being given to them. The feet of the church of Philadelphia had overcome a spiritual mountain; their feet were speaking in the spirit.
“Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable. [13] These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.” (Hebrews 11:12-13). These men attained a kind of “faith in God”; they had faith in the God who was revealing Himself to them. The God who is revealing Himself to us now is the God who revealed Himself to our Lord Jesus and later became the Lord and Father of our Lord Jesus. These men came to a place where their faith was absolute. When faith has become absolute, we come to a place called “shall”.
For us as a company, what we should desire is life. We can have whatsoever things we desire when we firstly use the faith in Christ to deal with a mountain called “sin” or the law called “sin”. A mountain is anything that can limit our coming to God. At the Outer Court, there are mountains before us which are laws. The presence of those laws brings about those limitations and we deal with these mountains by walking in the spirit (Romans 8:1). We speak to mountains with our feet; we deal with these mountains by our feet.
“Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.” (Revelation 3:9). This is also seen in the Philadelphia church. Their feet gathered something as a result of their obedience. They had crossed from Galatians 2:20 into the economy of the Living God, which is the core of the New Testament. New things are things that are firstly in Christ. There is something new in the Outer Court and even newer in the Holy Place. In the Most Holy Place, there is something that is newer than what is in the Holy Place.
A soul that has gathered things that are new and newer, needs to gather the newest things in the Most Holy Place. The newest thing is the raw God. There is a God that stepped out of eternity into time and all His dealings are to bring us to a place where He makes all things new (Revelation 21:5). God seeks to upgrade what is new to become newer. The seven churches were in the season of being made newer (Revelation 2-3).
To make one who is new to become newer is by giving judgement and bringing such to a place of regeneration. It is by the receiving of “all things” that a soul is made to sit on the throne. What has happened in this year’s Singlz Summit is the giving of judgement. When we process these judgements, we have been transited from being made new by the faith of the Son to become newer, and ultimately, into the eternal estate of the ‘New’ in Revelation 21:5. This can be likened to coming into the “Newest” realm, which is the transition of a soul from everlasting life into Eternal Life.
The heroes of faith in Hebrews 11 had obtained a good report. These were men who by their walk overcame mountains. However, with these exploits, these men never obtained the promise, hence, they could not receive the promise of all things being made new. The promise of newness was not an allocation for their time but they were made witnesses to them who shall receive the promise (Hebrews 11:39).
“For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” (Romans 10:10). What is stored in the heart is what becomes the confession of a man. We can wrestle spirits with our thoughts, fetched from the laws of the spirit of life we have obeyed. It was Satan’s trafficking of thoughts that brought sin into the world (Ezekiel 28:16-18). The heart has the ability to speak and those words have effect in the realm of the spirit, especially if they are backed by a law. The words of angels for example are steadfast because their words are backed up by the laws of their inheritance (Hebrews 2:2-5).
A season came when the apostles could also relate with words from the strength of inheritance. For example, Apostle Paul could lay claim to the gospel as being his because while he wrote the epistles, he laid hold on everlasting life. As such, when Jesus told the disciples to have faith in God (Mark 11:22), He was referring to the faith they will learn and receive substances of, such that they will also have authority over the present.
This faith points to newness. It is by this faith that we will move from the new earth to Zion and into the new heavens, where true spiritual blessings are resident. These men will be in the similitude of Adam before the fall, wielding authority over creation because they are of the world to come. This is the estate of newness. The end of this process is what will make the soul able to relate with Eternal Life.
“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, whereunto thou art also called, and hast professed a good profession before many witnesses.” (1 Timothy 6:12). Apostle Paul had not only come into Christ (by fighting the good fight of faith), but he had also laid hold on Eternal Life. The laying hold on Eternal Life is to have everlasting life. Such a man has received all that he has desired: life, abundant life, and more abundant life (John 10:10).
“[27] And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” (Luke 18:22-27). Jesus speaking to the rich young ruler told him to sell all he had to follow Him. He then pointed out that with men, the demand was impossible. What is required to fulfill this demand is to be made new by faith in Christ and being made newer by faith in God. Anyone who completes the process of the washing of regeneration receives the right to sit on the throne.
We see a pattern in the saints of Hebrews 11, who through their walk overcome mountains, that is, perverted laws that hinder men from fully receiving the new earth and the new heavens. The process of overcoming mountains is the process of believing to come unto God (Hebrews 11:6).
“There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” (Romans 8:1). To have no condemnation is to have received life according to the promise of the faith of the Son. There is a walk/obedience that will take care of mountains that were not addressed in the lives of the saints in Hebrews 11. This walk will make us newer than the measure of newness in the Sanctuary. Ultimately, every man is appointed to come into the “newest”. God rewards every man who attains unto the incorruptible life with the very life that makes Him new. The heavens and earth will pass away but no jot or tittle of God’s promise to man concerning newness will go unfulfilled (Matthew 5:18).
Rounding off by Pastor Emeka Egwuchukwu
Nobody can sit on the throne without receiving newness. All the promises that were apportioned to the churches in the book of Revelation are secrets that will be communicated to overcomers who will sit on the throne. Any man who lacks any of these inheritances will not be able to sit on the throne. God’s desire is to have the ‘newest’ men on earth. These are men who will live out all of these promises in the days of their flesh. These are men who the present world will be unworthy of.
For example, Paul had received the promise of Eternal Life, even in the days of his flesh (1 Timothy 6:16). The newest men are God’s treasures, hence, He hides them. After Jesus’ resurrection, He was on earth for forty days (Acts 1:3), for it was the intention of God to have Him officiate in a higher realm of authority. None of these promises are physical manifestations, rather, they are spirits that will be installed as revelations.
